Project Overview
This project involved the refurbishment and fit out of washroom facilities within a commercial premises in Darlington. The aim was to create a modern and professional washroom environment, combining enhanced privacy with a high-quality finish throughout the Ambassador Range cubicles, IPS panels and vanity areas.
Client Engagement
Throughout the project, we worked closely with the client to ensure the selected products, layouts and finishes aligned with the overall vision for the development. The aim was to create a consistent appearance across both the washroom and shower facilities.
Design and Planning
The Ambassador Range cubicles and full height IPS systems were carefully integrated to maximise privacy whilst maintaining a clean and contemporary appearance throughout the facilities.
Colour Selection
Arezzo Walnut was selected throughout the cubicles, IPS panels and vanity units to create a warm and contemporary woodgrain finish. The chosen décor complemented the wider interior design of the building and helped create a modern, professional appearance throughout the washroom facilities.
Material Selection
A combination of Moisture Resistant MFC and Solid Grade Laminate was used throughout the project, depending on the requirements of each area. Solid Grade Laminate was selected for the shower facilities and wet environments, whilst Moisture Resistant MFC provided a durable and decorative solution for the remaining washroom areas.
Scope of Services
Our involvement included the design, manufacture and supply of the cubicles, IPS systems and vanity units. All products were manufactured to the agreed specification before being supplied for installation as part of the wider washroom refurbishment.
Project Objectives
The primary objectives of the project were to:
• Create a modern and professional washroom environment
• Deliver increased privacy through increased height cubicle systems
• Incorporate durable materials suitable for both wet and dry areas
The project also aimed to maintain a consistent finish throughout the facilities, provide practical and easy-to-maintain washroom systems and deliver a high-quality result suited to the wider commercial interior.
Project Outcome
The completed washroom facilities delivered a clean and contemporary finish throughout all areas of the project. The combination of Ambassador Range cubicles, coordinated IPS systems and the Arezzo Walnut finish helped create a modern and professional environment whilst maintaining practicality for everyday use.
